Is there a minimum age to book a VANdredi camper?
Yes. Due to insurance requirements, the minimum age to reserve a VANdredi camper is 25. For all other inquiries, please contact us!
What is the cancellation policy?
You must refer to the booking contract when accepting the terms and conditions.
What time should I return the campervan at the end of my stay?
The campervan must be returned to the initial station before 4 p.m. or any time determined upon departure.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Dogs are allowed in all VANdredi vans for a $150 cleaning fee.
How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit is $2,500. It is debited upon signing the contract and released within business days after the reservation is returned, provided there are no issues. The timeframe varies depending on your bank.
What is the minimum number of days for booking?
We require a minimum rental of four days. For all other requests, please contact us!
The Vans
What size are the beds?
Double or Queen bed.
Does the water tank need to be emptied when returning the vehicle?
Yes, the water tank must be completely empty.
What comes with the van?
All vans are equipped as standard:
- 250 km per day - unlimited mileage (seasonal)
- 100% off-grid solar system (except for RPODs)
- Refrigerator/freezer
- A complete stock of basic kitchen products (2 to 4 place settings)
- Emergency first aid kit
- Window coverings
What is included in the kitchenette?
- Induction hob with 1 burner
- Induction pans and pots
- 2 to 4 Place settings
- Utensils
- Plates and bowls
- Cutting board
- Stainless steel kitchen faucets and sink
How long does the battery last in the van? How do I recharge the battery?
The van's battery can be recharged in three ways: through solar panels, by driving the vehicle, and by plugging into shore power. Without sunlight or driving, the battery can last up to 18 hours, but this depends heavily on the use of appliances such as the stove, water heater, etc. If you drive every day, you shouldn't need an external power source during your stay.
Insurance
How does it work for insurance?
Every rental includes comprehensive insurance. You will receive a copy of the insurance policy on site.
How much does insurance cost and what are the deductibles?
The insurance plan is included in the rental price. The renter is responsible for the $5,000 deductible for Physical Damage and Comprehensive Accident coverage in the event of a claim. Please note that a $2,500 deposit will be required upon signing the contract.
Does the insurance cover international drivers?
Yes! The insurance policy also covers international travelers who agree to undergo an international background check and who have an international driving permit or a license that corresponds to the category of the vehicle they are renting (for example, if they have a Class B international license, they cannot rent a Class A vehicle).
